Asus has recently launched its new laptop, Zenfone 14 UX433F and is the world’s smallest 14-inch laptop. It is not only this laptop has but it packs many amazing features. It has a powerful quad-core processor, giving all-day battery life, Harmon Kardon speakers, and plenty of ports. Moreover, this device has minimal bezels as Asus calls it ‘NanoEdge’ display. This 14-inch laptop offers a lot on the table and is a tad bit bigger than 13-inch Ultrabooks like Dell XPS 13. Even Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is fairly larger than this laptop. Design and Display

The Asus Zenbook 14 UX433F is a beautiful product with minimal bezels- all about the screen. The side bezels are around 2.9mm thin while the top and bottom ones are 6.1mm and 3.3mm thin respectively. This gives the device’s screen 92% screen-to-body ratio.  The top bezel has a webcam which is understandable and a reasonable compromise. This Asus laptop is thin and ultralight and is even slimmer than Dell XPS 13. Talking about the ports, this device carries a pair of USB-A ports- one is full 3.1 and another one is slow 2.0. You also get to see a USB Type-C port, HDMI-out, and a microSD slot.  But, the company has not used USB-C for charging which might give you a bit outdated feel- the conventional power socket. Overall, the design is really good with all-metal, lightweight, and thin bezels.

Coming to the display, the Asus Zenbook 14 UX433F has an IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. The contrast is pleasing and the colours come out crisp and perfect. The bezels are minimal and the display panel is high quality which is standard for Ultrabooks. Asus Zenbook 14 UX433F is all about the screen- all thanks to the minimal bezels. Performance

Under the hood, the Asus Zenbook 14 UX433F has an Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core CPU which is very impressive when it comes to performing tasks. It is paired with 8 gigs of RAM and Intel’s 512GB NVMe SSD. The RAM might be less but for an Ultrabook, it has a nice set of specifications. It will depend on your usage and how will you use your laptop. If you use this device for web browsing, opening multiple tabs, multimedia, and more. But, if you are looking for some hard tasking, then this device might slow down a bit.

The device has introduced Harmon Kardon speakers which are decent when it comes to sound output. The only downside is that it has very thin soundstage and they crank out. And you can also apply for software engineer Intern jobs to get the knowledge of the IT field.

Battery life

The Asus Zenbook 14 UX433F has a good battery life which managed to run for 12 hours and 19 minutes in movie playback test. Seeing this, you can even forget your charger at home and still this device can give you one day of work with ease. The lack of USB-C port will be missed although.

After bezel-less phones, minimal bezels have knocked the doors of laptops! With the new Asus Zenbook UX433F, you get to see the maximum screen-to-body ratio, minimal bezels, a good set of ports, and very well priced. This 14-inch Ultrabook is portable, lightweight, and very thin. Talking about how it performs, it performs smooth and sails easily when doing moderate tasking. It is not the best laptop in the market but it is very well engineered. The device lacks USB-C port for charging and after a year or two, you will feel that it is outdated. All said this device is an okay-ish device with minimal bezels, decent performance, moderate battery, and well-priced. It is a worthy choice among your shortlisted choices.
